Walmart x Mattel (Barbie) x eko - Kid HQ - Interactive Video Experience

My agency led creative across this ambitious awarding winning project. I worked closely with our creative teams, our technology partner, clients and production partners to bring this project to life.

KidHQ is an interactive video experience built on eko’s technology designed as a safe place for kids to play. There were several unique experiences housed in KidHQ: The Walmart Toy Lab, Mattel’s Barbie Dream Experience, and Meet Santa.

The experience won several awards including: Best Interactive Content from Digiday and two Silver Telly’s for children’s branded content.

 

 
 
 

In Walmart’s “Toylab” experience, kids were able to explore, discover and watch kids play with toys in a setting that inspires the same joy of a toy store, but ultimately culminates in a parent-friendly e-commerce experience.

 
 
 

 

In Mattel’s “Barbie Dream” Experience, kids were able to help Barbie plan a dream vacation through continual choice/engagement points and then ultimately watch Barbie enjoy the vacation of their choice.

 
 
 

 

In the multi-lingual “Meet Santa” Experience kids were able to engage with Santa like never before.
